Privacy Policy

Trip inputs. Your budget, origin city, dates, travelers, travel style, and the optional preference note. We need these to generate your report.

Email address. Only when you give it to us: buying a full report, asking for a report link by email, or joining a waitlist such as the packs launch list.

Payment details. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe, not to us; we never see or store it. We keep the purchase record (which report, which email, what was paid).

Report access. Purchased reports are tied to your email. When you open one on a new device we set a cookie so you do not have to re-verify every visit.

Analytics and errors. Product analytics (PostHog) run only after you accept the consent banner, and you can withdraw at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer. Error monitoring (Sentry) records technical failures so we can fix them.

Referral measurement. If you arrive via a partner link, we remember the referral code with the trip report you create so we can pay that partner. This is stored on your device and with your report; it is not shared with advertisers and is not used to track you across sites.

We use a small set of service providers to run Budgetcation: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), PostHog (consent-gated analytics), Sentry (error monitoring), Neon (database), Vercel (web hosting), and Fly.io (API hosting).

Travel data partners (flight, hotel, and place search services) receive the destination queries needed to price and research trips. They do not receive your name or email.

Some flight and hotel links in reports are affiliate links. If you book through one, we may earn a commission. The price you pay does not change, and the options we show are chosen for your budget, never for the commission.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your email with anyone for their marketing. We do not run analytics before you consent.

Withdraw analytics consent with the Cookie settings link in the footer. To see, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, email hello@abrazo.dev and we will handle it promptly.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes affecting purchased reports will be announced by email.
